American Rent-All was founded in 1986 by Larry Hutson and Tom Peirce. The company started out as a tool rental company serving small contractors and homeowners in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
In 1994, Tom sold his interest in the company to Larry. American Rent-All
was then split between two locations. The location at 2415 South Byrne in South Toledo became the General Rental Center for tool rental and contracting contributor equipment rental and location at 301 Illinois in Maumee became the Party Supplies and Tent Rental Center, specializing in party tent rental and party supply rental . That location is now what you know as the Appliance Center. In 2001 the Party and Tent Rental Center moved to 1015 Holland Park Blvd. in Holland Ohio. Conveniently located off Angola Road just east of McCord Rd in Holland, Ohio near the Strawberry Acres Park.
